Julie Weston, PhD
Psychologist
Dr. Julie Weston is a licensed child clinical psychologist who has been with the Melmed Center since 2007. Her practice focuses primarily on comprehensive diagnostic assessments of neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Intellectual Disability. Dr. Weston is trained in the use of the ADOS-2 for in-person evaluations and with NODA (Naturalistic Observation Diagnostic Assessment) for remote autism assessments for young children under 5 years. She conducts comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for preschool and school-aged children to help families understand their child’s strengths and learning differences. Those range from academic, language, fine motor, attention, memory, to emotional, and behavioral challenges which may interfere with school performance. She diagnoses specific learning disorders in reading, math, and written expression, including dyslexia, and provides recommendations to assist in their remediation.
