Chyllia Dixon, PMHNP
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Chyllia is Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Arizona. She has certificates from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Life Coaching, Hypnotherapy, Polarity Therapy, and Massage Therapy.
Chyllia is the editor and author of a psychiatric mental health nursing textbook that is used across the country and has authored numerous articles and newsletters. She teaches a cultural competency course for healthcare workers; addressing issues related to race, sexual orientation, sexual identity, gender gaps, religious beliefs, and other areas where people fall into minority groups.
Chyllia has spent most of her career working with children and young adults with chronic, complex medical issues. A natural educator, Chyllia provides resources and education about diagnoses and treatments.
In her free time, Chyllia enjoys listening to audiobooks while snuggling with her two Great Danes. As a true Idaho native, she believes potatoes are one of the best foods on the planet.
