Melmed Center is an inter-disciplinary center looking for a fulltime Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our ABA in-home program. Our team of developmental pediatricians, psychologist, nurse practitioners and BCBA’s provide synergistic treatment opportunities for children and adults diagnosed with autism, oppositional defiance, ADHD and other developmental disabilities. The BCBA is responsible for developing in-home and community programing, implementing parent training, and supervising RBTs to ensure that treatment plans are meeting fidelity.

The BCBA is responsible for developing in-home and community programing, implementing parent training, and supervising RBTs to ensure that treatment plans are meeting fidelity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers various assessments including (1) curriculum assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, PEAK, etc.), (2) adaptive assessments (e.g. Vineland, AFLS, Essentials for Living, etc.) and (3) behavior assessments (e.g. FAST, QABF, MAS, SIT, etc.).
- Based on results of conducted assessments, develops, implements, and monitors individualized goals and objectives for home, community and school-based programs. This applies for both skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals.
- Teaches RBTs on the proper implementation of behavior programs and plans, data collection systems, and internal reporting systems
- Monitors RBT competencies and performance. Provides corrective feedback using BST principles.
- Conducts regularly scheduled parent training (monthly per client).
- Meets regularly with ABA Clinical Manager
- Meets billable objectives (minimum 20-25 billable hours per week)
- Uphold documentation standards including writing initial and progress reports and on-going treatment documentation
- Assists with obtaining treatment authorizations based on funding requirements and clinical recommendations
- Participate in bi-weekly BCBA meetings including article and case reviews
- Collaborate with inter-disciplinary team and others to coordinate care.
- Maintain confidentiality, ethical guidelines, policies including HIPPA laws and regulation
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in psychology, education, or behavior analysis
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and licensed in the state of Arizona
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in the field of ABA as a licensed BCBA
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Experience supervising RBTs, completing performance-based and competency-based training
- competency checks and performance evaluations, delivering regular feedback
- Completed BACB 8-hour supervisor training requirements
- Adheres to HIPAA laws, practice policies, ethical guidelines and confidentiality
- Must pass a background check, fingerprint clearance card and CPR training required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet scheduled commitments
