Teacher Training Program


Keep up to date! A program especially designed to meet the needs of instructional aides, teachers, as well as parents who are home schooling. These wonderful forums facilitate insight and understanding into meeting the individual needs of children including those with special needs in the school settings.

  • Third Friday of the month from 12:00-1:30 PM
  • Facilitated by Ricki Light, MEd, Director of Educational Services

  • $40.00 per forum

Forum Topics:

  1. "Assistance for Assistants" This forum is specifically designed for classroom support personnel. Gain practical strategies to better assist the teacher in ensuring that the individual needs of students are being met in both the general and special education classrooms.
  2. Modifying Classroom Curriculum- 1,2,3 This session incorporates strategies for adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of all students in the classroom. Special emphasis will be placed on modifications that can be used to assist students with special needs.
  3. "Ain't Misbehavin'" Practical Behavior Strategies for the Classroom Teacher.
