Calling all boys and girls, this social skills group is for you! Emotional regulation is an underlying challenge for many children who are reactive and impulsive. Emotions such as frustration, anger, and jealously may result in acting out and aggressive behavior. Social success is elusive and self-esteem suffers. Taming the Tornado is a social skills group with a goal of learning the “tools” needed for emotional regulation and self-esteem through stories, hands-on activities and games.

• This group is specifically designed for girls and boys in grade school.
