Support Staff

Providing quality patient care is of the highest priority at Melmed Center. We know that quality must extend far beyond what happens behind the closed doors. The quality of your experience at Melmed Center also depends on the people who provide assistance with appointments, billing, paperwork, insurance, and much more. We know that these people and the tasks they perform are part of your experience from the moment you contact us.

Michel Wilds Executive Director

Michel has worked with the practice since 1994. She has been instrumental in the growth of the practice and in the building of the Center. Her background includes a degree in business management and administration with an emphasis in relationships. Michel is the final word in all business matters at Melmed Center.

Tabitha Hannum Executive Assistant

Tabitha has been with the practice since 1999. She has worked in nearly every support area. She serves as Ms. Wilds' executive assistant. Ms. Wilds’ relies on her experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Tabitha’s role includes directing and leading the work of others. You may also meet Tabitha while she is out in the community representing the Melmed Center, as she is contact and coordinator for Melmed Center's educational programs and MelmedCenter.com.

SUPERVISORS

Here are our front desk and back office supervisors! They wear many hats. They have the responsibility for the efficient running of all administrative elements pertaining to your visit.

NEW PATIENT COORDINATOR

Here is our new patient coordinator! Most likely, Deborah is the first person you'd speak with at Melmed Center. Deborah is up to date with all Melmed Center news so that she can fully inform and direct new clients towards the appropriate services. After a thorough triage of your unique needs, she is qualified to advise you which provider or service would be the best fit.

FRONT OFFICE STAFF

Here is our front office team! They will likely be the first people to greet you when you arrive and will handle your checkout at the end of your visit. They coordinate your schedule and help address your needs in a timely manner. As a touchpoint between you and our providers, they are the glue that keeps us all together!

BACK OFFICE STAFF

Here is our back office team! This is where the insurance, billing and referral information, is collated before your appointment. They serve as a liaison between you and your insurance company. Even though it is the patients' responsibility to be informed about their insurance, as a courtesy, our staff checks current eligibility and referral needs prior to each visit. Medical Records are also managed by our back office.
