Laura H. Jensen, RN. MSN. PsyNP.

Laura Jensen is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at the Melmed Center. Her interest in children started with leading wilderness trips for adolescents. Laura’s psychiatric nursing experience has included work with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics since 1993. She enjoys helping children and their families create healthy and fulfilling environments. 

Laura has a Bachelor of Arts from Evergreen State College and a Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing from University of Virginia. Her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification was completed at Arizona State University.
