Kathleen A. Winfrey, RN, MSN, M.Ed, PsyNP 

Kathy Winfrey is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at the Melmed Center. She has been a registered nurse for over 20 years. She brings 15 years of experience as a school nurse in Phoenix, working with students with ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, and various mental health issues. Her strengths include empathy, support, and guidance for families and their children who are dealing with developmental and mental health issues. Kathy has a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University. She also has a Master’s of Science as a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Arizona State University. She also completed a Master’s in Educational Counseling from Northern Arizona University.
