An activity oriented social skills group for girls that combines art, drama, and games to help them learn to make and keep friends, communicate, problem solve, monitor moods, and improve decision making and social sportsmanship skills.

•   2nd thru 5th grade girls (limit 6)  
    Monday from 6:15PM-7:30PM
•   Parents only meeting October 13th and November 17th 
    From 6:15 PM-7:30PM

• EARLY REGISTRATION discounted fee is $500.00 for 10 meetings (includes supplies and final report). Register at least 2 weeks prior to first group meeting for this rate, the rate will increase to $550.00 if you register after the EARLY REGISTRATION deadline. A $100.00* deposit is required to reserve your child’s space.

The deposit is non-refundable if you withdraw from group after the EARLY REGISTRATION deadline which is two weeks prior to the first start date. Please note there will not be a credit for any missed meetings or early withdraw from group after sessions have begun.

Dina Shacknai, PsyD. is a graduate of Argosy University where she earned her degree in clinical psychology. She has specialized training working with children and their families and has worked at the Melmed Center conducting evaluations, providing treatment for children and adolescents, writing curriculums, and facilitating social skills groups for children with developmental disabilities. Dr. Shacknai has a particular interest in the relationship between ADHD symptoms and temperament traits, completed her doctoral dissertation on the topic, and collaborated with a psychologist in the community to develop a temperament questionnaire for use with an adolescent population.
