Lisa Elder Outhier, PsyD

Lisa Elder Outhier, PsyD, a clinical psychologist, has been working with Melmed Center since 2000. Dr. Outhier received her Bachelors degree in psychology from Arizona State University. She completed her Masters degree and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University/Phoenix.

Dr. Outhier provides individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and families. Specialties include working with children with developmental disabilities, internalizing and externalizing disorders, and relationship conflict, and with adolescents. Intervention strategies include play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, parent education, and social skills training. Dr. Outhier offers psychological and psychoeducational testing services.

Dr. Outhier also works as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at Argosy University/Phoenix where she teaches classes in lifespan development, child and adolescent psychopathology, and specialty interventions for children and adolescents. Research interests include social skills interventions with autism spectrum populations.
