Miriam M. Gottlieb, PhD
Dr. Miriam Gottlieb, an associate psychologist, has been with the Melmed Center since 1996. She brings over 18 years experience working with children, adolescents, and families. In addition to providing psychological services, Dr. Gottlieb teaches and supervises graduate students in the counseling program at the University of Phoenix. Dr. Gottlieb's approach to working with children, adolescents, and adults is based on a growth model, with a focus on personal responsibility, re-education, and prosocial development. Her experience with families and larger systems contributes to her view of problems within a wider, complex context, and a comprehensive approach to therapy. Dr. Gottlieb has authored The Angry Self: A Comprehensive Approach to Anger Management.
