Genie Pang, OTR/L

Genie Pang, OTR/L, is an occupational therapists at the Melmed Center. In treatment, she focuses on neurodevelopmental and sensory-motor approaches utilizing therapeutic exercises and activities.

A child's occupation is play and learning which takes place through successful exploration and interactions with his or her environment. When neurological, neuromuscular, psychological and/or sensory processing interrupts this process, deficits and inability to perform motor and self-care skills may result.

The goals for each child are to create more opportunities for successful, self-gratifying play and exploration, as well as to develop greater independence in self-care and daily living skills.
